Well that didn’t take long. It now seems Warner Bros. is to cut its link with adware company Zango after consumer groups that work to protect children from the dangers of the Web began to speak out.
We will have to keep an eye out and see how long it takes to remove the links to Zango. You can read more on this from Brian Krebs, over at the Washington Post.
Least we got them eating some dust! ;) You can also discuss it here!

Can I just say, I have an idea who posted it on Wiki (< - click here to see what the fuss is about) and I thank you for it!
However I did an edit. Why? Because at first there was my post about spyheal and sunbelts post about the rogue. And just ONE place to seek help.
But I disagree with that! It is all good putting your forum up there. As long as you put others too. It kinda comes across as spamming otherwise.
Plus the fact there are removal guides for it. It would be best to post any made up removal guides for the rogue. Hence why I added BleepingComputers guide and my own.
You could argue that I am spamming. I disagree as I posted two removal guides. And I got permission to mirror the guide anyway from Grinler.
Another thing to point out is this. If I didn’t make a removal guide. I would still edit it and add the ASAP list as places to seek help as I strongly agree with that set up. Not that other boards lack the quality of help, no, no! It just makes it right to give end users a choice!
This is the first time I have ended up there. So it is a nice thing to know that someone values my posts. Please put some thought into next time. We are here as a community!

Wow!!!
The peer-to-peer network has also agreed to pay $100m (£53m) in damages to the record industry.
Still does not make the software safe! Bundled with spyware and adware! It is all good to agree and pay X amount of cash. But what really NEEDS to happen also is to make the software safe! Oh and let us see what SiteAdvisor thinks! They have their two cents too.
Ok, we can all agree that using peer to peer programs is in itself a danger. That is if you download crap from the program you use.
But what I dislike is that they pay of their damages and continue to support crapware. I would personally respect companies more when they don’t come bundeld with anything or actually do something about it!
But why do we need to come up with fixes? We should not have too! But sadly this is the only rule they play by: Money Money Money! And untill there is money. We will still see programs bundled with x, y and z.
Discuss it here. Rant over ;)

It has been some five years since the release of the last major update to the famous browser!
Microsoft now plan to push the new version as a “high priority” for XP users via Automatic Updates later this year.
There will be a choice if you want to install it or not! You will get notified when IE 7 is ready to install and then show a welcome screen that presents key features and the choices to install, not install or postpone installation.
